Click  here  for a map of Norton. Thank you to those nice people at multi map.

Well which way are you coming from?

Bristol: Most likely you came in on the A37 Bristol - Wells road. Turn left at the traffic lights after the Little Chef in Farrington Gurney towards Midsomer Norton. After a couple of miles go straight on over the mini roundabout past Planet Tesco then right at the larger roundabout. Truck on through the lights until the next mini roundabout and turn left. Next mini roundabout turn right. Yet another mini roundabout turn left. One last mini roundabout turn left, follow the road round to the right and park up. We're next door to the Nat West bank, you're parked behind it.

Bath: You probably came in on the A367. At Radstock go right at the double mini roundabouts keep on rolling into Midsomer Norton for a couple of miles until you reach a mini roundabout just passed a pedestrian crossing. The Stones Cross pub is up on your right and you turn left into the high street. All the way to the bottom in the right hand lane (it's one way - but watch out, not all the hillbilly rednecks recognise the system as it came in post 1968 so is some new fangled nonsense) through the first set of lights then right at the next set. We are between the Nat West and The Greyhound Hotel but drive past and round to the right to park.

Glastonbury / Wells : Depends which way you come in. If on the A39  then follow until it joins A37 and turn right at the lights in Farrington  Gurney and follow Bristol instructions. If on B3139 then turn left onto the A37 just past Emborough pond opposite the Old Down Inn (watch out speed camera !) and turn right at lights in Farrington Gurney etc etc etc.

Shepton / Yeovil : Get on the A37 towards Bristol and turn off onto the A367 towards and through Oakhill. On for 3 miles or so, through Stratton On The Fosse and turn left towards Midsomer Norton on the B3355. Straight over crossroads and on past rugby club and old station to traffic lights at the bottom of the high street. Straight on and we're on the right between the Nat West bank and the Greyhound hotel. Park around the back.

Frome / Warminster : Get to Radstock on the A362  and go left then right at the double mini roundabouts (keeping Radco 'Super'store on your left). Follow instructions given above for Bath.

If I've missed anyone drop an e-mail and I'll do you some directions.

*ALL DRIVERS PLEASE NOTE. NORTON HAS ABOUT A DOZEN MINI ROUNDABOUTS - WHICH IS A LOT FOR A SMALL TOWN. NOW YOU MIGHT THINK THE LOCALS WOULD THEREFORE BE EXPERT USERS OF THIS WONDERFUL TRAFFIC SYSTEM. NOT A BIT OF IT. THEY WILL ANGRILY WAVE YOU OUT WHEN IT IS THEIR RIGHT OF WAY. THEY WILL WAIT UNTIL YOU MOVE THEN SHOOT OUT LIKE AN EXOCET AIMED AT YOUR CAR. THEY WILL ALWAYS TURN IN FRONT OF YOU WHETHER YOU ARE ALREADY PULLING ON TO THE ROUNDABOUT OR NOT. IN SHORT BEWARE. NORTON DRIVING IS A HIGHLY SPECIALISED AND DANGEROUS ACTIVITY.*
