Ok folks, now look, I know and you know that any web site is only as good as the
frequency with which it is updated. With that in mind we here at the Wundy Bar
try to shake the bottle at least three times a week so you can get an eye full
of froth every time you log on.
Unfortunately I’m going to be as busy as the proverbial wasp in a fat kids lunch
box over the next week as I’m moving house.
Liz has found it too much to look after me in my flat whilst running her house
and feels that I’ve reached the stage where I need full time residential support
preferably in Westfield. As a result you may come to feel the site lacks a
measure of attention in the coming week. Stay strong and fear not once we’ve
linked in to the Westfield grid and plumbed into the creaking old GPO line I’ll
be able to take your e-mails and links and, oh everything.
New stuff to take note of : Mark of the house of Dando is setting up AFC Wunder
Bar so get your dubbin and shin pads out and come down to sign on the dotted
line you fleet footed footy fans. Me and Potted Pete have decided to set up a
book club as we’ve discovered three other people in the bar who can hold a book
the right way up. We ideally want 12 people each to choose a tome, one a month,
and once monthly we meet to say what we thought about it and probably argue
about improbable plot misinterpretations.
Ho hum, right I’m off to take Tramp for a walk and read a bit more of Stephen E
Ambrose magnificent take on the events pertaining to 6th June 1944.
